Silverlining - Silverlining Dubs (XII)

The Silverlining Dubs series showcases the work of London-based producer and DJ Asad Rizvi, also known as Silverlining. Here he delivers the whopping 12th edition of the series, owing to his already prolific status as a veteran of the UK underground. Unmistakable fusions of soul, breaks, ambient and jazz come as smoky city-hazes reminiscent of inner-city lived lives; 'Comares' is a rolling and melodic tune inspired by Rizvi's trip to Andalusia, and 'Downtime' is a relatively punchy and acid-infused track, shooting for an older-school analogue jam verve.
