Influenced by legendary dub reggae artists like Lee Perry and Aston 'Family Man' Barrett (bassist in The Wailers and a prolific studio musician) plus groundbreaking funk musicians such as Sly Stone, Nat Birchall's Dimensions Of The Drums, in his own unique way, recreates the dub and reggae sounds of the '70s in Jamaica. Birchall uses drum machines, heavy dub production, and helms the entire recording and mixing process, to achieve this singular vision of past and present breakthroughs in reggae.
