Byron The Aquarius returns to Skylax with another characteristically musical four-track EP, balancing warm, groove-led house with a tougher edge than some of his previous work.

The A-side leans into loop-driven house with plenty of funk, sitting around 122 BPM but carrying enough weight to come alive on a proper sound system. Flip the record over and the mood changes, with two darker cuts that nod towards the stripped-back funk of artists such as DJ Bone and Jay Denham without losing Byron's unmistakable musicality.

Four tracks, each earning its place. There's a little extra spice to this one.
